Youth

From 3 to 21 days and anything in between, Summit Adventure is the leader in Christian Wilderness Youth Courses. Young people, age 14 to 18 practice teamwork, leadership, and alpine travel skills as they spend time together and time with God. Activities will include daily devotionals, backpacking, rock climbing, map and compass skills, peak ascents, rappelling and more.

Open Enrollment Courses: Sierra Multi-Element- Participants will travel into the mountains to learn about God and themselves through the challenges of the wilderness such as solitude, small group dynamics, and peer leadership. Along with backpacking, mountaineering, and rock climbing the Sierra Nevada, this course adds the element of rafting one on of California’s many white water rivers.

Sierra Rite of Passage - Participants will travel into the mountains to learn about God and themselves through the challenges of the wilderness such as solitude, small group dynamics, and peer leadership. Backpacking, mountaineering, and rock climbing the Sierra Nevada gives the students on this course physical challenges and victories in the beauty of God’s astounding creation.

Yosemite Rock Climbing Camp- Participants get a chance to delve into the challenges and techniques of rock climbing and rappelling. In a safe environment, the small group of students will have opportunity to grow together in their physical climbing skills, as well as, their spiritual lives.
