Summit Adventure Youth Rock Climbing Course

Beginner Youth Rock Climbing Day Trips
June 24-27, 2020

Join us June 24-27, 2020 for one (or all!) of our Beginner Youth Rock Climbing Trips. Central California features some of the best granite in the world, attracting climbers far and near. Each day we will visit a local rock site, each posing a new challenge. Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, participants will learn the fundamentals of rock climbing–rock site awareness and safety, movement, technique and how to support each other. Our beginner Youth Rock Climbing Trips are for Jr. High and High school youth, ages 13-17. These experiences will introduce our participants to the basics of rock climbing. If these dates don’t work, or if you want to level up in your climbing, check out our Intermediate Youth Rock Climbing Expedition. Youth are welcome to join us for both courses to get the full experience.

While Summit Adventure is a faith-based organization, programming for our Rock Climbing Course will be focused on skills, team building, and exploring and caring for the natural world. We want all youth, regardless of their background, religious affiliation and beliefs to feel welcome and included.
