In October the cables drop on the iconic Half Dome in Yosemite. Which means, no more crowds, no more heat, and no worrying about going through the hassle of a permit. This is the best time for a summit attempt! Participants have the option of making this a day trip or spending the night in the gorgeous Yosemite Wilderness.
